A startup requires a lot of resources to get it off the ground. From marketing to money, there is plenty to think of before the dream can become a reality. They need to invest in resources and people effectively. But there are four types of people every start up needs.
They overthink their business. Who they hire, how they market and what they spend their money on.
With the right people on board, a new, modern business can go from 0-60 in a matter of seconds. With the wrong people, it can end up on the scrapheap with the other 80%. So, who are the right people and what makes them valuable?
Start-ups often have smaller teams (maybe a dozen people, maybe two), less financial resources, and just as much (if not, more) work to be done. And more often than not, they want to impact the world in a big way.
1. An ”Art” Person( A Designer)
Graphic design has a big role to play in the modern competitive business environment.
The modern designers use different graphics software programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, etc.
They present your company in a form of media. They get a message from a quality design.
They also helps in enhancing sale. If the graphic design or theme of designing of the company is of good value, it fills the viewers with confidence.
2. A “Video” Person ( Who knows how to film and post-produce)
There is no better way to share your story than with video. And there’s no better way to reel buyers in than with a compelling story.
A video helps in increasing conversions and build a stronger connection with your audience.
A person who knows how to film and post produce basic Photoshop skills for editing images to post it over social images and on websites.
You can have one person for filming, one person for post-production and one person for Image editing. But the Best is if a one person can do all of three for you. A video person should have all these skills
3. A “Written” Person ( Copywriter)
Copywriting is about communicating with the company’s audience and specially at start up stage you need to make proper communication with your audience so they can understand you and have a long term relation.
A Copywriter knows how to create the necessary tone and encourage users to take necessary action.
Your content reflects brand image through tone, language and relatability.
4. A “Math” Person (Someone who can run ads)
The problem is tomorrow changes. You should be ready for ocean of changes.
There are many good reasons to advertise, including attracting new customers, increasing sales and business growth.
All businesses need promotion. As a start-up you need to make a base and you have to ensure that your product is advertised in correct way.
Basically an advertiser person is the one who gathers work done by all other three and put it before audience in a correct way.
There are lot of things an advertiser needs to look at.
Advice is, do not try to do everything on your own. Hire people who knows skills good. Otherwise things will not work out in a best way.
These are the four types of people every start up needs.
